See the development of a single design -
first comes the research - studying the
habitat of bird, tree, or flower;
then sketching the design - from real
life - or in a museum; next putting
the design into a form suitable for the
note papers; and developing
the backgrounds, then Gwen cut the
blocks by hand, of course - and
blended the ink to just the right
color and shade. The final step is
selecting the right folders to bring
out the best effect.
